• Samantha Broughton

    FOUNDER

Samantha has been working in the Superyacht Industry since 1997, witnessing and contributing to its remarkable evolution. For 13 years, she honed her skills at sea, introducing structure and processes to yachts and projects that previously lacked them.

Rapidly advancing to 'Head of Interior' roles, Samantha infused her creativity and innovative thinking into every task she undertook. She possesses a holistic understanding of life on board. A sailor at heart [and owner of her own 38ft sailboat], she knows what it takes to be at sea while crafting exceptional experiences on a yacht. Her background is deeply rooted in design, construction and processes, giving her a comprehensive perspective on all aspects of maritime life.

Throughout her career, Samantha has worked directly for many reputable yacht owners and collaborated with numerous shipyards, designers, and brokers, contributing to a wide array of new builds and refits. For the past 10 years, she has served as a client representative and interior consultant for a prominent yachting family. During this time, she navigated steep challenges, achieving remarkable successes. This experience highlighted the industry's gaps and needs, leading to the creation of the Superyacht Interior Studio.

Through intense projects with her clients, Samantha realised the importance of the client journey, not just the outcome. One particular area, Interior set up and owners supply which often gets handed off to various parties, leading to a fragmented approach and outcome. Recognising this, she saw the need for a dedicated management role to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive process. After all, creating a lifestyle onboard and selecting the interior elements is one of the most important and enjoyable parts of a yacht project –
